Our zesty Lemongrass drink is great for the tea drinker who wants something brisk and invigorating without any caffeine. Lemongrass is a familiar flavor, as it is grown and used across Asia, and it is especially common in Thai and Vietnamese cooking. Our sweet-scented lemongrass comes from Cairo, where it grows in large patches as high as five feet. These leaves, which are of the highest organic and biodynamic grade, are picked, sliced, and sun-dried to ensure the richest possible flavor. As a drink, lemongrass produces a light, yellow-green liquor that smells strongly of citronella and has a very crisp, lemon taste. This herb is smooth, yet cooling and stimulating like peppermint. Extremely healthy with excellent anti-microbial properties, this herb has been used across the world to treat everything from fever to indigestion to high blood pressure. Lemongrass is both great alone or added to tea to give it a citrus kick.
