Produced in the Uji district, the oldest gyokuro-producing region in Japan, the Gyokuro plant is shaded from the sun for 20 days allowing the caffeine and amino acid levels in the leaves to increase. Replete with antioxidants, our Emperor's Gyokuro is a mellow, sweet, and full-bodied tea.
(Fun Fact: Gyokuro is also known as Jade Dew because of its beautiful green color)
